25 minutes by car from downtown Stavanger, 10 minutes from Sandnes and 20 minutes from Stavanger Airport (Sola).
Fly direct to Stavanger Airport (Sola) from London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Aberdeen and Manchester.
Guests park on the mainland and reach the island by rowing boat, which is found steps from the car park. Detailed arrival and access instructions are provided to guests before check-in.
Arriving is part of the experience.
You’ll row the approximately 300 metres to the cabin yourself—a short and peaceful 5–10 minute crossing where you can enjoy the tranquillity of the water before you arrive. No rowing experience is necessary, but you should be in generally good physical condition.
Guests should pack with the boat crossing in mind. Normal luggage is perfectly manageable, but soft bags are generally easier than large rigid suitcases. Bring outdoor clothing and footwear appropriate to the season and weather.
